The project aims to ponder what hospitality is. Firstly the task was to explore how food can be perceived as a potential tool for experience-related design in Architecture; in particular, looking at food as a social generator. By participating in an activity of making and breaking bread with team members who live in different countries, I found that food can be served to make people gather in a specific spot. But, in the meantime, I also discovered that the way of having social relationships is different from the past. Due to Covid-19, people have started gathering in virtual space. So, currently I am thinking about how this newly emerged virtual culture can be interlinked with its previous architectural culture. For example, how a virtual image shown by a projector can can replace the existing urban texture and how this change of culture will give the feeling of hospitality.
